Over the past 6 months, 3019 families have been directly served by the Springfield Area Parent Child Center.
Over 392 families served through childcare referrals or tuition assistance services
89 different childcare professionals attended a class or other professional development activity through the PCC
19 parents and their children participated in the on-site, intensive training program at the PCC, called Learning Together
150 individuals attended family events such as the annual Family Fun Fair and Great Duck Race
63 parents and children attended playgroups in North Springfield or Cavendish
30 parents and their children attended a parenting class in one of several towns sponsored by the PCC
52 children attended the PCC’s children’s center – PlayWorks Child Center
213 families were visited in their home
31 Welcome Baby bags were delivered to families with a new baby, thanks to the collaboration with the Springfield Hospital Childbirth Center
4200 newsletters or other written information have been delivered to parents, childcare providers and community members, including website information
27 families were served through the Child Advocacy Center.
