We Want To Help You

A healthy pregnancy and first year of life for your child are the building blocks for a future of good health.

CIS Maternal Child Health can help.  For a booklet on services from the state, click here.

We are a voluntary program for pregnant women, their families and babies and part of "Children's Integrated Services" working closely with partners such as the Visiting Nurses Alliance, HCRS, and the Vt. Department of Health.

Our mission is to help you find high quality care and support services in your community.

Enrolling in CIS-MCH is simple- the program is part of the health insurance benefits that come with Medicaid and Dr. Dynasaur and is:

  • A state-wide coordinated effort

  • designed to improve the health of women and infants receiving Medicaid

  • designed to fill gaps and provide accessibility in health care coverage

  • voluntary and free to all participants who choose the visits

What CIS-MCH offers you:

  • personal answers to questions about pregnancy, health risks , baby care and breast feeding

  • information about community resources for you, your family and your baby

  • support in finding medical care during your pregnancy and you baby's first year of life

  • information on healthy diet and assistance in enrolling in WIC and other nutrition programs

  • transportation to medical appointments
